Lighting for Bisa Abewa Art Museum- Takoradi

Below are some overview images as well as before and after images

We were contracted by Bisa Abewa to help shine light on their curated art pieces over the years in their newly opened Museum in Takoradi, in the Western Region of Ghana.

Lighting for a museum requires special attention to details such as shadows of the viewer and from adjacent artifacts while preventing glares as well as a color appropriate light for a better viewing pleasure.
LED lights were used to help preserve the art from UV rays commonly emitted from other non LED bulbs that over time, bleaches out the art, rendering the beauty of the displays to a washed out piece and we don't want that.
We also fitted the lights with custom gels to diffuse as well as color balance those that required more attention.

We continue to provide customer support to our client, Bisa Abewa when there is a new addition to the museum or a change in location.

Please find below some examples of how special creative lighting like this bring the art to life.
